The Eye Care Centre is proud to offer the best warranties because we carry the best products that we purchase directly from only the best Canadian manufacturers. Of course, we want your product to perform perfectly the first time – every time. But if there is a problem we stand behind our products with the following warranties:
Zeiss, Essilor, and Nikon carry a one to two year warranty against peeling of coatings and other manufacturer defects.
A one year Lens Replacement Plan is available for purchase on all Zeiss lenses. This insurance covers a one-time lens replacement for deep scratches, cracks, or defects not covered by the basic warranty. Lenses must be remade with the original prescription. Lenses must be returned to claim this warranty. Lost or stolen lenses are not covered. This warranty must be added at the time of purchase.
All of our lenses come with a 60-day fitting warranty and a 60-day doctor’s change of prescription warranty. If any lens measurement (PD, fitting heights, etc) is found to be outside tolerance or if the doctor changes your prescription within 60 days of purchase, and you purchased your lenses at the Eye Care Centre, we will remake your lenses at no extra charge.
Progressive lenses can sometimes be difficult to adjust to. Within 60 days of purchase, if a client cannot wear progressive lenses purchased at the Eye Care Centre, a complimentary recheck of all eyeglass measurements will be performed. If necessary a complimentary prescription recheck will also be performed by your optometrist. If progressive lenses are still found to be correct, but the patient is unable to adapt to a suitable adjustment period, replacement lenses will be offered (single vision, bifocal, or trifocal). Any difference in the purchase price of the lenses will not be refunded.

The Eye Care Centre provides a complimentary fitting, adjustments, and cleaning of your eyeglasses and sunglasses as often as necessary, for as long as you own your Eye Care Centre purchased eyewear.
Repairs on frames that are not covered under the manufacturer’s warranty (broken, mangled, sat-on, driven-over, dog-eaten, etc) will be assessed and if possible repaired at the patient’s risk.
The Eye Care Centre offers a one-time unconditional replacement of lenses for one year from date of purchase (for the same prescription).
Our commitment to producing high quality, individualized eyewear for each of our clients ensures that your prescription eyewear is specifically designed and created just for you. We cannot, therefore, offer refunds once full or partial payment has been received and your order has been started.
All defective contact lenses purchased at the Eye Care Centre will be replaced with a new pair at no charge. Unopened boxes may be exchanged for credit if the lenses have not expired. Opened boxes may be exchanged if possible.
